 We've had a harsh winter up north this season culminating in an unprecedented ice storm which took out power for for most of northern Michigan, but the weather towards the end of this week indicates that we may finally be turning the corner into spring weather with consistent highs near the 50's. Trout season is upon us and we couldn't be more excited for it. We've been celebrating the opening of trout season here at the lodge for 108 years. We plan to open the lodge for the season Friday April 25th.  Join us the morning of Saturday April 26th for a traditional trout opener pancake breakfast starting at 9:30am. $15 per person We will also be serving a 3 course steak dinner at 6:30 Pm $40 per person.
